Thanks to the effort of Mrs. Karen McKinney, science teacher, GE Peters received a visit from ABC7’s local news affiliate WJLA Washington, D.C. The Storm Tracker team met with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. They discussed the various tools the team uses to forecast and communicate the weather to the people of the DMV area. The children were also featured on television later that night and the next morning.
